So the extended wait seemed to be a tactic to coax us into ordering more drinks. Well Mr friendly man, why not ask me and let me tell you if I’d like an extended wait between dishes or if I’d like my burger to come when ready? During the half hour wait Mr friendly man repeatedly asked if we’d like more drinks. The friendly server informed me that “we leave it a while after your nachos before making your meal so you have time to enjoy”. Half an hour later I had to ask where the food was, we were extremely hungry and half an hour was long enough. Me and my colleague ordered burgers and fries. The nachos were a nice starter, quite a good portion size and garnished with dips, jalapeños and coriander. agreed and they arrived 10 minutes later. We were up sold almost immediately with the server asking if we’d like to share some nachos to start. We were seated fast and greeted by a friendly server, however that was the fastest part of this experience. You have amazing options for food and drink in Haarlem, so maybe no need to go here? More Overall not worth waiting 1hr 20 for! It could have just been a bad night in the kitchen, however, how the staff handled the situation just made it worse. All the food was nice apart from the beef topped fries which were undercooked and pretty disgusting. They also forgot one side that we ordered after we finally received the food (we said to not bother cooking). Everyone ordered a portion of fries which came out 10 mins before burgers and just randomly staggered throughout the 1 hour 20. minutes later and 4 of 6 burgers arrived, another 20 minutes minutes went by and we finally got the last two, at this point the staff had arrived at our table with random food we hadn't ordered. About 30 minutes after ordering we got told that two items we ordered weren't available.
